During the Fall 2024 semester we have lots of exciting events planned for our members! See below for information on upcoming events and sign up links for each one! A friendly reminder to our club members that in order to be officially recognized on the roster, you must attend a minimum of 50% of our events per semester (4 events).

Internships With IBM

We are excited to announce our first speaker event of the semester with representatives from IBM, in collaboration with UNC Undergraduate Business-Technology Club! You'll have a chance to learn about the company, hear about summer internship opportunities within the marketing and data & AI areas, and ask any questions you'd like.
Resume Workshop

We are hosting a Resume Workshop on Wednesday (9/25) from 6pm to 7pm in McColl 3575. We’ll by covering resume strategies and tips, as recommended by the UBP Career team. You’ll also have a chance to get feedback on your resume just in time for recruiting! We’d recommend bringing a digital (or printed if you prefer) copy with you. Hope to see you there!
Annual Trek to Charlotte
Thursday, October 17
Meeting Location : Dean E. Smith Center
We will spend an entire day "trekking" to the Charlotte area to visit prestigious company offices including P&G, Mythic, and Lowe's. You will get to network, tour their spaces, participate in various activities.
*This event has an application (Due Sept. 23) as we can only host about 25-30 students (bus capacity)! Make sure to fill out the application essay.
*Additionally there is a $25 fee for those granted a space to cover transportation.

Market Research with The Link Group

TLG is coming to KF to expand upon their work in market research and host a fun activity for our students. They will be promoting upcoming open roles and internships!
How to Case Comp

The Exec board is hosting a tutorial session on how to succeed in case competitions. We will be reviewing old examples from previous P&G themes including one on Olay. Additionally we'll provide advice on presentation style. Come with questions!
Proctor & Gamble Networking Night

Prepare the night before the Case Comp by coming to meet the judges and current marketing/sales employees from Proctor and Gamble. A great opportunity to practice networking skills and learn about the company.
Proctor & Gamble Case Competition
Friday, February 23

8 am - 3 pm
Compete with a team of about 4 students to a selected prompt about one of P&G's products and how its marketing strategy can be improved. One of the Marketing Club's most highly regarded events! Amazing way to build strategy, marketing, networking, and business presenting skills. Also a great way to make friends and solve a fun, yet challenging problem. Winners receive awesome swag and high honors from P&G themselves.
Peer Panel: Insights on career, marketing, & college

Hosted by Exec, a fun and casual peer to peer style panel that answers any questions you may have about applying to and navigating the business school, internships/jobs, how to succeed in college classes, marketing, etc!

March Marketing Madness

This event will involve creativity, engagement, and enthusiasm. We are holding a bracket style competition with multiple rounds/tiers, ending with a championship, to practice marketing skills/have fun!! Bring friends and creativity. Snacks and prizes will be provided. Theme announced soon.
Company TREK to Charlotte

All day commitment (7 am - 9pm)

Accomplished 2023 Fall Events
The fall entailed 7 very successful events which allowed our students opportunities to engage with multiple employers, network amongst each other, build marketing skills, and foster friendships.
